Katy was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, and moved to Wilmington in 2016. While she loved the charm of her hometown and the proximity to Washington, D.C., she grew up vacationing in Coastal Carolina and always dreamed of living at the beach.

 

Katy received her undergraduate degree and her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Virginia. Katy gained valuable business experience working in brand management, marketing and executive education in both D.C. and New York for 15+ years. Since joining the Lanier Property Group, she has sold over 60 homes.

 

As a buyer’s agent Katy is known to scour the market for opportunities that could be overlooked by other agents. As a listing agent Katy goes to great lengths to make sure her listings sell for top dollar by pricing appropriately and negotiating hard when needed. She is always looking for creative solutions for her clients and win-win scenarios in her transactions.

 

Outside of real estate, Katy stays busy cheering on her kids (Emmy and Will) along with her husband (Greg) at various sporting events around Wilmington and visiting her oldest daughter (Anika) at NC State in Raleigh. The family also treasures their time out on the water - whether tubing, fishing or simply exploring the islands, they love the boating life! She also serves as the Treasurer for Women’s Council of Realtor’s Azalea Coast Network. If Katy ever gets a moment of true downtime, you’ll find her curled up with a good book – preferably poolside or in the sand!
